How Civilmart is helping to flatten the COVID-19 curve

During this unprecedented time of change and uncertainty, Civilmart has been actively participating in efforts to help keep all Australians safe from COVID-19.
As a company with 14 sites across Australia, including 12 state-of-the-art manufacturing centres, we are monitoring the situation closely and have devised a range of initiatives designed to assist in “flattening the curve” of coronavirus.
This includes changes to the way that we do business, while still adhering to the principles central to Civilmart’s mission – to supply quality solutions to the civil construction market.
These changes are designed to protect our staff, customers, suppliers, contractors and visitors, following advice from the Australian Government and Safe Work Australia (Business resource kit – COVID-19 | Safe Work Australia)
Civilmart has altered some workplace practices to help stop the spread of coronavirus, including:
* Facilitating work-from-home arrangements, where possible
* Increasing on-site hygiene practices
* Implementing social distancing guidelines
Sales, service and customer service initiatives
To help protect the community from coronavirus, Civilmart has limited non-essential face-to-face meetings with our customers. However, we have ensured that all of our teams are available via other means through the use of technology.
Service staff have been advised to minimise contact while carrying out maintenance work at customers’ sites. For example, service technicians inspecting treatment plants will no longer require signatures from customers and will leave documentation in the letter box upon departure. Contact our service teams to discuss these new processes.
We are continuing to supply vital civil construction projects right across Australia. While some state borders are closed to traffic, deliveries of Civilmart products are permitted under government guidelines and continue as normal. However, these necessary border checks could result in unexpected and unavoidable delays, and we are working to schedule deliveries with this in mind.
The Civilmart team takes the health and safety of both our customers and staff seriously, and will continue to monitor this rapidly changing situation to ensure that we are doing our best to limit the transmission of COVID-19.
