Flap Valves

Civilmart are able to offer a range of Flap Valves for Stormwater Applications.

These solutions are designed to act as a non-return valve (one-way valve) for stormwater infrastructure to prevent downstream water re-entering the upstream pipe network and potentially ‘backing up’ the system.

These devices are manufactured from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) providing a lightweight, high-strength and corrosion resistant alternative to other materials

Flap Valves are generally available in three (3) typical mounting options:

• Wall Mounted (i.e. affixed to a headwall or wall-type structure)
• Spigot Mounted (i.e. affixed to a pipe end)
• Flange Mounted (i.e. affixed to a pipe joint of a specific material / type)

These designs can incorporate various seal types to limit leakage between pipe and flap valve and assist with the creation of a watertight seal.

Generally Flap Valves are available to suit DN100 to DN600 pipe with custom options available upon request.
